Plaza Merdeka is honoured to have received the prestigious Asean Public Toilet Standard 2019-2021 Award in January 2019 which rated its toilet facilities among one of Malaysia’s cleanest and among Asean’s best.
In 2018, Plaza Merdeka was announced as one of the Top 3 finalists in the category of Best Shopping Centre (Stand-Alone Shopping Centre) and awarded the Certificate of Merit at the 20th Malaysia Tourism Awards 2016/2017. Plaza Merdeka was also awarded the Enterprise 50 (E50) Entrepreneurs Award by SME Corporation Malaysia in November 2017. The award program recognizes the achievements of Malaysia’s enterprising small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
